Ariel is a fictional character in the Walt Disney Pictures animated feature film The Little Mermaid in 1989. Ariel was the fourth Disney Princess made by the Walt Disney Pictures. She is the youngest daughter of King Triton and Queen Athena of an underwater kingdom of merfolk called Atlantica. She is often rebellious and wants to be part of the human world. At the end of the story of The Little Mermaid, She married Prince Eric and had a daughter together.
