Magical Mermaid Cake

Decorating cakes requires a bit of a magical touch, but maybe you actually have it! Test yourself with a wonderful summer cake and to really represent this hot season your theme should be the Mermaid, a mysterious sea creature. Start with the sponge of the cake and decide between wonderful colors. Then add the frosting which can be purple with small turtles, chocolate with little fish, blue with shellfish or yellow with stars. Then decorate the edges with small shellfish and pearls or different candy reminding of waves and sea vegetation. On top of the cake you can spread out strawberries, chocolate sticks, truffles or colorful candy. Choose a beautiful mermaid as a centerpiece and a little buddy for her, which can be an adorable sea creature like a crab, an octopus or a snail. Have a blast!
