Design Your Winter Coat

It is so cold outside, you should definitely wear a winter coat. You don't like any designs you have found in the store? It's ok, you can just design your own! Start by choosing a shape. Do you want your coat to be short, or longer? Then take all your measurements, to make sure the new coat will fit you. Draw the pattern on muslin and then cut it with a pair of scissors and hand sow it. Then you can choose the color of the fabric. Usually on winter you should use bright colors for a nice contrast. Then it's time to embellish your winter coat with accessories, so pick buttons, fur sleeves, pretty belts, big fuzzy collars and cute brooches.
